Description:
The School of Social Science and Professional Studies is currently seeking a faculty member who can contribute to the business program and the School of Social Sciences and Professional Studies in the areas of program development, teaching, scholarship and community service. We are particularly interested in receiving applications from colleagues with expertise in one or more of the following fields: financial management, business economics, international business, and business computer applications. The successful candidate should demonstrate the capacity to serve as the administrative coordinator of the business program, teach a variety of courses, advise and mentor students, serve on school and college committees, and develop a record of scholarship in one’s area of expertise.
Job Qualifications Include:
Excellent communication skills, passion for teaching, dedication to scholarship and willingness to engage in community service. Corporate managerial experience would be especially welcome. PhD or DBA in business or affiliated areas from an accredited institution (AACSB, ACBSP or equivalent) is preferred; M.B.A. or minimum of 18 hours recognized as graduate business classes is required.
