Minimum Qualifications
Masters degree from an accredited institution or equivalent accreditation with 18 graduate credit hours within the discipline.
Must meet the University and College criteria for appointment to the level of Instructor I.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree or Ph.D.from an accredited institution or equivalent accreditation in a field within anthropology.

General Summary Statement:
Your initial duties will include teaching; course and/or curriculum development; involvement on College and University committees and/or initiatives; as well as duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Experience in undergraduate teaching and knowledge of alternative ways of delivering instruction, especially using collaborative learning, active learning, and information technology. Ability to develop an outcome-based curriculum and work collegially to develop interdisciplinary courses. While being grounded in discipline knowledge is essential, having the perspective and ability to connect discipline expertise into the whole curriculum is equally desired.
Experience or commitment to the use of technology in distance learning & university teaching. Interest in collaborating both within and outside the University in the development and delivery of instruction resulting in improved student learning. Must value continued scholarship and service to the school and University.
