Ka-Comm, Inc., a leader in critical communications since 1960, has an opening for a Full-Time Electronic Installation Technician in our new Wichita location. Ka-Comm designs, sells, installs, and maintains communication systems for public safety agencies around the State of Kansas. In addition to the Wichita location, Ka-Comm operates facilities in Emporia, Olathe, Manhattan and Salina.
This position requires ability to diagnose public safety 12 V electrical system issues and resolve technical problems. Attention to detail and ability to operate various hand tools required.Knowledge of wood working and metal fabrication a plus. Must be able to work independently and on a team. Major responsibilities include, but not limited to, installation of electronic equipment, RF communications equipment, emergency lighting ,video recording systems, and mobile data systems. Additional duties will include customer interaction using telephone and face to face communication. Must be able to coordinate all accounts payable and receivables with Salina office. Abilty to document work being performed on service tickets required.
