Provide support and assistance in tasks throughout the production facility. May include manual labor, use of hand and power tools, ability to problem solve and adapt to different tasks throughout the day. This is an entry level position with opportunity for growth for good perfomers.
Construction experience is a plus and general carpentry skills are helpful
Assist production personnel in completion of tasks by learning various positions, following directions and being an exuberant assistant.
May work in any department in the plant as assigned.
Use power tools, hand tools, material handling and other equipment.
Display good math and measurement skills and be able to read and interpret blue prints and work orders.
Oshkosh Door Company operates on a four day/ten hour schedule, Monday through Thursday, 5am to 3pm. Daily and Friday overtime is not unusual and is mandatory. NOTE: Beginning June 3, 2012 Oshkosh Door will move to a 2-2-3 Schedule for the summer months. This is a 2 on, 2 off, 2 on, 2 off, 3 on, 3 off schedule. 5am - 5pm. Guarantees every other weekend as a three day weekend.
