Electronics Manufacturing Engineer

Description:
The selected candidate will propose improvements to operations through manufacturing engineering analysis based on capacity, cost reduction and/or safety; be responsible for creating and/or improving Electronic processes; be familiar with printed circuit board design and have an understanding of electronic assembly, ESD program controls and sustainability; provide implementation of processes including equipment procurement, coordination of installation, process capability prove-out, training, process documentation and production start-up; contribute to the product introduction process with respect to cost estimation, process investigation, schedule development and prototype manufacture; and review production problems as they are identified and implement solutions. Requirements:
This position requires a four year Engineering degree OR a two year degree with five years? experience in a manufacturing environment OR if no degree, ten years of experience is required. The selected candidate must also have knowledge of Electronic assembly Quality standards; IPC-A-610 Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies; and IPC J-STD-001 Requirements for soldered electrical & electronic assemblies. Familiarity with IPC-7711A & IPC-7721A, ANSI/ESD S20, PCB design, and SMT a plus. Location: Sidney, OH Pay Rate: Based on experience Note: Applicant must be presently authorized to work in the United States.
