Position Summary: The Facilities Lead reports to the Process Support Manager and is responsible for supervising and coordinating the maintenance and security of the buildings and grounds.

Essential Functions:

System troubleshooting and repair of all building operating systems

Directs the repair, maintenance and upkeep of the buildings and grounds

Coordinates activities of building maintenance personnel

Facilitates the use of outside contractors as appropriate

Overall responsibility for plant security

Establishes and maintains an effective facility maintenance program

Recommends new supplies, equipment and procedures to improve overall operations

Review progress of work to evaluate efficiency and work quality

Education, Experience and Skills Required:

Bachelor and/or Associate Degree with equivalent experience

Three to five years experience in facilities maintenance or associated field, including a minimum of three years supervising and managing staff

Strong verbal, written, analytical and computer skills

Ability to organize and prioritize workload and to meet deadlines

Interpersonal communication skills sufficient to work closely with others on a team

Responsibilities:

Strong understanding of all building operating systems: HVAC, vacuum systems, water systems and air compressor systems and directs the maintenance programs and repairs.

Directs repairs and maintenance and new construction of all facilities buildings including but not limited to lighting, parking areas, lawns, furniture, interior painting, warehouse racks, fans, ceilings, flooring, roofing, office additions and remodeling.

Purchasing functions that include getting numerous quotes for all repairs, construction and goods from outside contractors and vendors to evaluate what is best for Rocklines facilities and its employees.

Responsible for overall plant security of buildings, grounds and employees.

Oversee current recycling program and help negotiate services from recycling companies. Look constantly for ways to improve in house recycling collections and handling.

Perform other work-related duties as assigned and will be a working lead as part of day-to -day facilities tasks.

Responsible for total waste removal of all facilities.

Direct a work force of employees for facility maintenance, cleaning, repairs.

Responsible for all vending companies and catering of hot food into plant.

Responsible for making sure all employees and contract
