Job Description, including experience, education and skills required: Education Required: Bachelors Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering Experience: 5 years minimum industry experience as Components Engineer with strong knowledge of RF/Microwave and analog components Other requirement: US Citizen Join a leading RF and Microwave/Millimeter-wave company as a Senior Component Engineer. You should have an Electrical Engineering degree with a minimum of 5 years experience in a component engineering role and a strong knowledge of RF/Microwave and analog components. You will work closely with Design and Manufacturing Engineering to perform parts selection and approvals for both new designs and legacy design obsolescence. In addition, you will take an active role in performing product reliability analysis. This role also provides you with the opportunity to develop a new parts selection and parts management process as the company migrates to a new ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) tool. Role responsibilities: - Assist design and manufacturing engineers with parts selection (RF, analog, digital) and documentation - Upgrade the part selection and parts management processes - Maintain parts data base - Support legacy production component obsolescence - Generate and maintain Bill Of Materials (BOMs) for new and legacy product - Perform design reliability analysis Required experience: - Experience with electrical circuitry functions including technical drawings, schematics, and BOMs - Experience with RF/Microwave components such as MMICs, PIN diodes, filters, switches, and isolators - Experience with analog components such as resistors, capacitors, inductors, regulators, and operational amplifiers - Understanding of manufacturing processes for fabrication of electronic equipment, including surface mount technologies and chip-and-wire microwave assemblies - Experience with reliability analysis for electronic assemblies - Experience with MS Office for general department documentation Desired experience: - Knowledge of digital components - Relex Reliability Software experience - Familiarity with Mentor, Orcad and Altium or similar circuit design/database tools
